Jim was born with a passion for cars, racing and the need for speed!
Jim has always been involved with automobiles everything from a simple engine rebuild to building a complete car from the ground up....custom street rods, muscle cars and race cars. He has worked at such places as Daytona Roadsters, Volusia County Customs and Raabe Racing as well as out of his own shop at his home in New Smyrna.
Not your typical stock car driver, Jim's driving background actually stems from drag racing. While at Raabe Racing, Jim worked as car chief on Paulie Harrakka's pro truck, then when Paulie moved up to late models, Jim was given the chance to sit in the driver's seat and hasn't looked back since.
Jim and his wife, Kelly (co-owner), live with their daughter, Caitlyn, and all share the same passion for racing, but also share the quality of giving back. The family is committed to charities such as the Epilepsy Foundation, Easter Seals, Ronald McDonald House and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Jim is a natural and continues to improve each time he’s on the track, so make sure you keep an eye out for this Daytona Beach native! He has the qualities of a winner, aggressive driving and most importantly the desire to WIN!!
